Ian’s journey from earning his BFA at The School of Visual Arts Film Program to becoming a highly sought-after Director of Photography is incomparable. His extensive list of credits with various networks, streaming platforms and his collaboration with high end production companies speaks to Ian’s expertise. Focusing on creating a unique cinematic style, Ian is instrumental in defining the visual language of numerous television and documentary projects. When not behind the lens Ian is an avid cyclist and has a great collection of bikes. Talk gear with him.

Ben Cheah

Production Sound

A graduate of Australia’s National Film Academy with an impressive list of feature credits, including The Ice Storm, Frida, and Casino, Ben brings his love of cinema and all aspects of production sound to ADB. Working alongside great directors like Martin Scorcese, Ang Lee, the Coen’s and Mary Harron, he is an incredible asset to any production. Ben is infinitely knowledgeable on all aspects associated with sound from shoot to post to ADR, and will capture atmos sound effects any where in the world with the Schoeps 3D Surround 5.0 mic. Ben is also a mezmerizing story teller and will leave you laughing until your sides ache.
